Joy to The World, Pt. 1

We begin celebrating this Christmas season with the angelic proclamation of Luke 2:8-14. This was a truly a message of glad tidings of great joy that was for all people. In this first installment, we will look at six components of the first part of this passage (vs.8-10), namely the epicenter of the message (Bethlehem of Judea), the envoy (the angel of the Lord), the emissaries (the shepherds), the essence of the message (good news), the effects of the message (joy to the world), and the extent of the message (for all people).
