Koinonia, Pt. 1

Fellowship is at the heart of the Christian life. God has eternally existed in fellowship between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and he designed us for fellowship with Him and with one another. And as the early church grew, they devoted themselves to intimate and consistent fellowship, being like-minded and united in one Spirit. And Paul's description of fellowship using the Greek word koinonia speaks powerfully of the vertical and horizontal aspects of Christian fellowship.
