Prayer, Pt. 3

Following Jesus's discourse in the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 6 on the actions of the hypocritical religious, specifically how not to pray boastfully and vainly, our Lord then gives a model that should guide our prayer life, embodied in what we know to be "The Lord's Prayer". Rather than a specific prayer that we are recite my rote memory, Jesus offers his disciples a format that should guide our prayer life. In this sermon, we cover the first half of the Lord's Prayer that gives us vital perspectives of God that we should hold to when going to God in prayer.
