I'm a Saint, Pt. 35

In part 35 of our series, "I'm a Saint", we come now to the largest piece of the Christian soldier's armor - the shield of faith. In this message, we'll consider the analogy of the shield to learn about the frequency of faith, the focus of our faith, and the function of our faith.

We're told to take up our shield in all circumstances, and our faith should be primarily focused on Jesus, the founder and perfector of our faith. Thirdly, the function of our faith is to extinguish the flaming darts, which can be categorized into three areas as we see in 1 John 2 and Matthew 4 - The temptations of the flesh, the temptations of pride, and the temptations of misplaced worship.
