I'm a Saint, Pt. 40

As we close out our study of Paul's letter to the Ephesians, we examine his closing benediction, which serves as a final blessing to the Ephesian church and one that mirrors his opening greeting. This is a benediction of peace, grace, faith, and most prominently - love.

We also take into consideration that Ephesus is the only NT church to receive both a canonized letter from Paul while also finding themselves amongst the seven churches of Revelation 2-3. Ephesus was a faithful church that persevered to the end in so many important ways, and yet failed to remember the most important thing - their love for the Lord Jesus.

In this message, we examine how to avoid a similar rebuke to that of the Ephesian church by cultivating an incorruptible type of of love, a love for Jesus that is grounded, devoted, trusting, and undying.
