We continue to look at the contexts of mutual submission amongst Spirit-filled Christians, and consider the relationship between children and their parents. Whereas children are called to obey their parents and to honor them in every way, parents, and fathers in particular, are called to avoid exacerbating their children. Fathers are to nurture their children as they are commanded to nurture their wives, and therefore are to raise their children with godly discipline and biblical instruction.
