I'm a Saint, Pt. 16

We are united in our calling and in conduct, and as we examine verses 4-6 of Ephesians 4, we see how we are to be united in our confession. The universal confession of the Church has been universal for 2,000 years, despite the attempts over the centuries to introduce a variety of false doctrines.

All Christians are to be united around the shared confession that there is one body of Christ - the Church; there is one Spirit at work within the body; there is one hope connected to our shared calling; there is one Lord - Jesus Christ; there is one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father who is sovereign, providential, and intimate with his people.
